Come join us for one of the biggest music events in independent music, coming to Hollywood, CA on Friday, February 10, 2012 as The Great Unknowns Presents will be presenting the 2012 Artists In Music Awards!
During Grammy's week, the 2012 Artists In Music Awards will take the stage at the famous Key Club located on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, CA. Artists will have a chance to submit their music videos and songs for nomination and a chance to win an award in a wide array of music categories.
The Artists In Music Awards was created to honor and recognize the best independent music artists from around the world. Many artists produce music deserving of radio play, but few get to shine in the world of mainstream.
The award show will not only be presented live, it will also be streamed online in HD for viewers all over the world to see and be presented in front of hundreds of people in Hollywood, CA.
Each category winner will receive a beautifully designed and personalized engraved statuette for the artist to take home and display at home or at their studio.
Event Schedule: Red carpet event begins at 7pm, show starts at 8pm until 10:30pm. After party from 10:30pm to 2am
Live performances by Donny B. Lord, Katie Cole, Monte Pittman, Monks of Mellonwah, Breaking Day, Twin Towers, Nobody Gets Killed, Z LaLa, Dayda Bass. After party spun by DJ Ray Rhodes and DJ Nate Wilson.
In addition, one lucky winner will take home the coveted, "Alan Freed Award". During the 1950s, Alan Freed earned himself to be one of the founding pioneers of independent music and helped pave the way for future music artists. Freed helped bridge the gap between Rhythm & Blues and helped it become a part of mainstream music.
